Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Applications Security Engineer to ensure the security of solutions by integrating security practices throughout the product and software development lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Product and Development teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle
Implement and maintain automated application vulnerability scanning tools and coordinate manual penetration testing assessments
Respond to application security incidents and monitor application security risks while maintaining comprehensive records of vulnerabilities


Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in application security or related roles
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
Ability to read and comprehend application source code and identify vulnerabilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Familiarity with authentication frameworks and applied cryptography concepts
