Lincoln Electric is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Euclid,
OH headquarters. As an Electrical Engineer on our Industrial Engine
Drive Team, you'll play a vital role in the design and development
of innovative products. This position focuses on both enhancing
existing solutions and pioneering new designs that meet industry
needs. This is an on-site position at our Euclid, OH plant. -- In

- Research & Development: Engage in the design, specification,
testing, and documentation of components, assemblies, and complete
industrial products.
- Hardware Engineering: Lead the development and modification of
circuits, PCBs, alternators, magnetic components, and welding
products, delivering high-performance solutions that meet project
specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software
engineers to translate product definitions into integrated hardware
and software solutions, fostering a collaborative approach to
innovation. Work frequently with R&D, Manufacturing,
Production, Supply, Quality and Service Departments to establish
and achieve objectives.
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of projects or specific
phases within broader initiatives, managing timelines, resources,
and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of electrical
engineering principles while maintaining a foundational
understanding of related disciplines.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform and oversee the testing of
new designs, processes, and warranty improvements, driving
initiatives for cost reduction and enhanced product
reliability.
- Documentation & Design Guides: Assist in developing design
guides, review checklists, and Failure Mode Effects Analyses
(FMEAs), ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with
engineering standards.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate activities of technical support
personnel and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a
collaborative environment focused on achieving common goals.
- Customer Focus: Engage in Voice of Customer initiatives to
assess market needs and align product development with customer
expectations, enhancing overall satisfaction.
- Legacy Product Optimization: Revitalize and rationalize legacy
products to improve their quality and performance, ensuring they
meet current market demands.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Create value by supporting supply
chain initiatives and developing designs that incorporate common
parts, optimizing resource use and cost-efficiency.
- Global Engagement: Collaborate with global teams and suppliers
to drive cost reduction efforts and enhance product offerings on a
worldwide scale.
- Strategic Contributions: Establish and support corporate
strategic projects, actively participating in strategic planning to
align engineering efforts with company objectives.
- Decision-Making Autonomy: Operate with significant latitude for
independent decision-making in complex environments, demonstrating
leadership and initiative.
- Continuous Improvement: Review progress regularly and perform
additional duties as needed to support the Company's 2025 Strategy
and overarching goals. Required Skills and Education --
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related
field.
- A minimum of three - five + years of engineering experience,
preferably in a relevant industrial setting.
- Proven ability to adapt to a constantly changing set of
priorities while maintaining focus on key objectives.
- Strong initiative and ownership of product designs,
demonstrating a commitment to quality and innovation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles,
with hands-on experience in design, testing, and
problem-solving.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred but
