Job Description:
A company is looking for an Acute Care Pediatrician to provide
virtual acute care services to patients and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide integrated primary, behavioral, and urgent care for
pediatric patients through virtual consultations
Collaborate with allied health personnel during home visits and
oversee Advanced Practice Providers in the virtual urgent care
program
Participate in on-call coverage to support the 24/7 virtual acute
care program
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Licensed physician (MD/DO) with board certification or eligibility
in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume emergency
department, inpatient, or urgent care setting
Experience managing medically complex pediatric patients
Bilingual in Spanish is strongly desired; telehealth experience is
a plus
Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligibility for
application
